Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Portfolio Specialist to join our team at the ADNOC Group. As a key member of our Portfolio Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of our 2030 Group Strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Analysis
  • Support the annual Group Portfolio review for presentation to Executive Management.
  • Provide input and analysis to address key Portfolio questions (affordability, deliverability, risks, market dynamics).
  • Support the identification of the aspired Portfolio and integrated investment program in line with Strategy.
  • Support the prioritization, ranking, and capital ceiling of the investment program.
  • Support the development of the annual Corporate Calendar covering Strategy, Planning, Portfolio, and Performance.
  • Support the development and roll out mechanism for asset performance benchmarking.
  • Provide input and analysis on costing exercises on various products within product portfolio.
  • Produce integrated economics to understand investment impacts across the Group's value chain.
  • Ensure prioritized investment program is reflected in the Business Plan.
  • Continuously update repository of key Portfolio data and metrics.
  • Establish working relationships with all stakeholders and ensure effective communications.
  • Conduct ad-hoc Portfolio analysis.
Governance and Decision Making Support
  • Review submissions to the Management Investment Committee to ensure Strategic fit, value creation, reasonableness of assumptions, and overall fit with the ADNOC Portfolio.
  • Monitor robustness and adherence to governance processes relating to the Management Investment Committee and its subcommittees.
  • Provide input to briefing notes to the Group CEO on Management Investment Committee submissions and Company board materials.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders in the review of Management Investment Committee submissions (Finance, Legal, etc.).
  • Support the Group CEO and the Management Investment Committee with a platform and associated content for objective and robust decision making with regards to significant investments.
  • Support development of evaluation criteria and return requirements for significant investments.
  • Review and challenge assumptions for different business case scenarios (Low, Base, High).
  • Conduct detailed assessments of financial modelling, including analysis of historic and projected cash flows and measures of return and valuation (IRR, NPV and Payback Period).
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide support and other key initiatives/projects activities specifically related to the mandate of the ADNOC Group CEO and the Government of Abu Dhabi.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Management, Finance, Engineering).
  • Masters preferred.
  • 9 years of experience in relevant discipline.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Finance or relevant designation preferred (CFA, CPA, CA).
Work Environment
  • Normal office environment.
