Key Responsibilities
  • Reservation Management: Receive and manage restaurant reservations, ensuring maximum up-selling opportunities.
  • Reservation Updates: Prepare and distribute daily reservation updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Guest Feedback: Record and track guest comment cards to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Marketing Materials: Send promotional materials to the database on a regular basis.
  • Database Maintenance: Update the Food and Beverage database regularly to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer Inquiries: Handle telephone inquiries regarding promotions in a polite and courteous manner, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Correspondence: Prepare memos, emails, and letters for internal and external communication.
  • Document Management: Ensure all correspondence is filed in a systematic and methodical manner.
  • Procedures: Have a thorough understanding of procedures for handling restaurant reservations.
  • Group Reservations: Send quotations to guests for group reservations upon request.
  • Bulk Mailings: Assist in sending out bulk mailings occasionally.
  • Buffet Preparation: Prepare daily buffet tags, menus, and other materials for Food and Beverage Outlets.
  • Reporting: Follow up on reports required from Food and Beverage Outlets.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or diploma in the hospitality field.
  • Experience: Maximum of one year experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer programs, with familiarity with Micros an advantage.
