Responsibilities in Audit, Tax & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Facilitate and assist with internal audits, governmental audits, annual financial reviews, quarterly assessments, and tax obligations (including ESR, CbCR, etc.), ensuring adherence to both internal and external regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with external service providers on compliance issues related to VAT, FATCA, ESR, and Corporate Tax.
  • Engage with auditors to address and resolve any discrepancies to finalize the audit of financial reports.
  • Assist the Associate Director of Finance in developing intercompany chargeback systems that comply with relevant Transfer Pricing regulations.
  • Support the Associate Director of Finance in evaluating tax implications and optimizing intricate transactions, as well as reviewing international tax frameworks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 6 years of pertinent professional experience, with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in auditing or working within a Private Equity or Asset Management environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficient understanding of IFRS and experience in analyzing financial statements.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, specifically with Oracle's budgeting and consolidation modules (EPBCS and HFM/FCCS).
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qliksense, Tableau, or Spotfire.
  • Experience in finance transformation initiatives, including the automation of month-end processes and data workflows.
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English, with advanced presentation capabilities.

Educational Background & Professional Qualifications:

  • Possession of CPA, CA, MBA, CMA, CFA, or another recognized professional accounting certification.

Technical & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the capacity to independently address and resolve a variety of complex issues.
  • A collaborative team player, demonstrating maturity, integrity, and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks while maintaining resilience and composure under pressure.
