Ajman University seeks a highly qualified and experienced academic leader to join our faculty as an Associate Professor of Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in finance, conducting high-quality research, and engaging in innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Design, deliver, and assess graduate and undergraduate courses in finance, and engage in innovative and technology-based approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Research and Publication: Conduct high-quality research and publish research outcomes in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Service and Community Engagement: Participate in committee and other service tasks at the department, college, and/or university levels as assigned, and actively engage in promoting the growth and visibility of Ajman University.
  • Consultancy and Industry Engagement: Provide consultancy and other industry-facing services to Ajman University partners and members of the business community.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Finance or a related field obtained from an internationally reputable university, preferably accredited by AACSB.
  • Three or more years of teaching experience in an internationally reputable university, preferably accredited by AACSB.
  • Demonstrable record of excellence in teaching and curriculum development.
  • Outstanding record of research and peer-reviewed publications in top journals (SCOPUS, ABDC, ABS).
  • Record of collaborative and interdisciplinary research would be an advantage.
  • Excellent record in professional and community service.
