The nature of your role will involve managing an assigned book of clients, serving as a subject matter expert on Employee Benefits, providing trusted service and valued insights. You will work closely with clients, carriers, and external partners to resolve issues that may impact the client relationship.
Your communication style should be clear and easy for clients to understand, and you should have a way with clients that builds rapport, establishes trust, and shines with professionalism. A comprehensive understanding of your dedicated client's group health portfolio is essential, and you will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, benefits plans, and compliance documentation.
You will proactively ensure client satisfaction through regular touchpoints soliciting feedback on existing group health benefit offerings and future needs, acting as appropriate (ie: quoting, upselling, remarketing). To succeed in this role, you must have at least 2-3 years of related insurance experience, including a Life & Health Insurance Producer License.
A college degree is not required, but having the skills to do the job is more important. Previous insurance industry experience, especially with a brokerage or agency environment, is preferred. Experience with Benefits Administration platforms and insurance quoting platforms is also beneficial.
Key responsibilities include relationship management, group benefit support & administration, and client retention. You will be responsible for managing benefit renewals, supporting Open Enrollment, preparing quote proposals & benefit guides, handling all aspects of benefits renewals, and conducting virtual meetings with clients to review their benefits plans and make recommendations for improvements or changes.
This role requires extensive experience building relationships and understanding a client's needs. Prior experience managing service recovery and expert knowledge of ADP's infrastructure and ADP's traditional and new product/services in business processing and outsourcing are also valuable assets.
