Job Title: Web Designer

At Taz Employment Services, we are seeking a skilled Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Website Design and Development:
    1. Lead the design and layout of the corporate website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
    2. Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and developers to execute website projects.
    3. Utilize UX/UI best practices to optimize user experience and engagement.
    4. Ensure responsiveness and compatibility across all devices and browsers.
  2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
    1. Optimize website content for search engines to improve organic visibility and rankings.
    2. Analyze and monitor website performance using SEO tools, making adjustments as needed.
    3. Implement strategies for on-page and technical SEO, including keyword research and metadata optimization.
  3. Website Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
    1. Monitor the website for any technical issues or downtime, ensuring prompt resolution.
    2. Ensure the website complies with security standards, including regular updates, backups, and addressing vulnerabilities.
    3. Coordinate with IT and third-party vendors as necessary for technical support.
  4. Data Analytics and Reporting:
    1. Use web analytics tools to track website performance, user behavior, and conversion rates.
    2. Generate regular reports to assess website KPIs and suggest data-driven improvements.
    3. Continuously test website elements to optimize performance (A/B testing, heatmaps, etc.).
  5. Project Management:
    1. Lead and manage website projects, including new builds, redesigns, and feature implementations.
    2. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
    3. Create detailed project plans, manage timelines, and report on progress to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch).

Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).

Familiarity with web hosting platforms, SEO tools, and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).

Understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and web performance optimization.

Experience with SEO, SEM, and digital marketing tools and practices.

Behavioral Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong time management skills.
