About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our IT infrastructure and systems team at Energy Jobline. As the Head of Infrastructure and Technology, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement IT Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives, ensuring all systems support the company's overall vision.
  • Lead IT Infrastructure Modernization: Lead the modernization of our IT infrastructure, including development tool environments, with a focus on cloud and DevOps solutions, to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage IT Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, encompassing cloud-based solutions, electronic trading, market data, and telecommunications, ensuring adherence to established SLAs and industry regulations.
  • Enhance Workspace and Technologies: Enhance our workspace and technologies, promoting digital solutions and maximizing space utilization to support evolving business needs and improve employee productivity.
  • Develop Cybersecurity Measures: Partner with the Information Security Manager to develop and enforce robust cybersecurity measures, safeguarding our company's data and assets from potential threats.
  • Business Continuity Planning: Oversee business continuity planning efforts and collaborate across departments to ensure operational resilience and minimize downtime in the event of an outage or disaster.
  • Strategic Cloud Initiatives: Define and implement strategic cloud initiatives and modernize development tools, aligning with long-term goals and objectives.
  • IT Infrastructure Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT infrastructure roadmap, guiding our company through its technological evolution and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide stakeholders with informed recommendations on global IT and digital solutions, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adhere to established governance frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, such as COSO, JSOX, FCA, MAS, CFTC, EMIR, and DORA.
Ideal Skillset and Experience
  • Proven Leadership Experience: Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT teams within a complex trading environment, with a strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • IT Infrastructure Modernization: Demonstrated experience in planning and executing IT infrastructure and system modernization initiatives, with a focus on cloud and DevOps, to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices, with experience in implementing robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard our company's data and assets.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and employees.
  • Strategic IT Planning: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with overall business objectives, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.
  • Regulated Trading Environment: Experience in a regulated trading environment, managing complex IT infrastructures and relevant technologies, is highly desirable.
  • Governance Frameworks and Regulations: In-depth knowledge of relevant governance frameworks (COSO, JSOX) and regulations (FCA, MAS, CFTC, EMIR, DORA), with the ability to ensure compliance and adherence to established standards.
