About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office professional to join our team at Dusit Thani Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Tasks- Ensure the smooth operation of the Front Desk, guaranteeing seamless guest interactions.
- Lead a team of dedicated Front Office professionals, guiding them to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, room status, and financial transactions.
- Guarantee all equipment and supplies are functional and adequately stocked.
- Procure necessary items to sustain optimal operational levels.
- Design and manage schedules to align with business demands.
- Enforce punctuality and attendance standards within the team.
- Set and maintain high standards of grooming and attire among Front Office staff.
- Nurture a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Coordinate pre-arrival preparations, package distribution, and registration card management.
- Effectively address guest complaints, prioritizing their satisfaction.
- Continuously monitor room status, alerting Housekeeping to unclean rooms and out-of-service rooms.
- Swiftly resolve discrepant room issues.
- Follow up on incomplete tasks with the incoming supervisor.
- Oversee cashiering procedures, encompassing adjustments, paid-outs, corrections, miscellaneous charges, foreign currency exchange, posting charges, splitting charges, transferring charges, settling guest accounts, closing cashiers, balancing cash summaries, and completing remittance envelopes.
- Ensure telephones are answered promptly with proper etiquette.
- Promote a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Verify that Express check-in/check-out processes adhere to established procedures.
- Process late check-out requests according to established hotel protocols.
- Ensure Group Check-in/outs are handled correctly according to established hotel procedures.
- Resolve and document traces as needed.
- Verify house bank integrity and ensure all banks are secure.
- Inspect safe deposit box procedures, inventory keys, and verify records.

Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Front Office or Guest Service in a similar role.
- Familiarity with yield management and cost control strategies.
- Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken).
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
