About the Role

Talent Pal is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our event ticketing and venue listing platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the frontend and backend components of the event ticketing and listing platform using modern technologies such as React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
  • Implement robust RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend systems.
  • Develop and maintain the venue listing and management system, allowing venues to showcase their spaces and amenities to potential event organizers.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs for payment gateways, email marketing, and other functionalities as required.
  • Optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development and actively contribute to improving our codebase and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in full stack web development with a strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with frontend technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Knowledge of serverside technologies, including Node.js, Express, and database management (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of event ticketing, venue management, or related domains.
  • Experience with payment gateway integrations and ecommerce platforms.
  • Understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles.
