Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in both patient and non-patient areas by:

- Performing dusting, damp mopping, and disinfecting of fixtures and furnishings.
- Vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets and mats as required.
- Emptying, cleaning, and re-lining waste receptacles.
- Transporting regular and contaminated waste/linen to designated areas.
- Washing and disinfecting beds and cribs upon discharge, preparing them for new occupants.
- Adhering to isolation cleaning protocols to prevent pathogen spread.
- Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, including fixtures, mirrors, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Reporting low supply levels in the Environmental Services storage area to the supervisor.
- Submitting work orders for necessary repairs in assigned locations.
- Ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained and used efficiently.
- Operating machines for hard floor maintenance and carpet cleaning as required.
- Delivering clean linen throughout the facility.
- Participating in professional development through required meetings and educational programs.

Work Schedule
Rotating weekends and holidays are part of the schedule.

Shift Details:
Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Required Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in using common cleaning tools and materials.
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
- Commitment to the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
- Positive interaction with colleagues across departments to support effective patient care.
- Must possess reading, writing, and speaking skills in English.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch as necessary.
