Key Responsibilities

  • Instrumentation and Controls System Design: Develop and implement comprehensive instrumentation and controls systems for oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Oversee the planning and scheduling of instrumentation and controls projects, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Deliverable Review and Production: Review and produce deliverables, including models, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and evaluations, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Work closely with design teams, clients, and vendors to achieve successful project outcomes and ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Engineering Degree: Hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as instrumentation and controls or electrical engineering.
    • Industry Experience: Possess at least 10 to 12 years of experience in instrumentation and controls in the oil and gas industry.
    • Project Experience: Have experience working on FED, detail design, and EPC projects, with a strong understanding of international codes and standards.
    • Language Skills: Possess excellent command of both spoken and written English.
    • Additional Requirements
      • DCS, ESD, F&G, and SCADA Systems: Have thorough knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G, and SCADA systems, commonly used in major brownfield oil and gas offshore projects.
      • P&IDs, HAZOP, and SIL Reviews: Participate in and contribute to P&IDs, HAZOP, and SIL reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
