Job Summary

Restore Talent Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and organized Instructor Assistant to provide support to our faculty and students. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with teaching, advising, and supervising students, as well as participating in college committees and carrying out other tasks assigned by the Dean, Head of Department, and/or course Instructor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching Support: Assist faculty/instructor in planning, preparing, and implementing daily teaching/learning activities, including developing various teaching aids for use in the classroom.
  • Student Support: Assist students individually or in groups with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts, and provide a supportive and caring environment for students.
  • Administrative Support: Participate in college committees, carry out tasks assigned by the Dean, Head of Department, and/or course Instructor, and assist with organizing and implementing internship programs, student advising, and cocurricular activities.
  • Research Support: Assist faculty in research activities, including helping students and researchers in the college with conducting experiments, research, and projects.
Preferred Qualifications and Characteristics
  • Education: A minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in the relevant discipline, with the ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, adequate English proficiency, and ability to use software packages and engage with the latest learning/teaching tools.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, understand and follow specific instructions and procedures, provide activities for students that encourage learning abilities, and update and develop professionally through further education and training.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort is required.
  • Physical Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
