About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop effective treatment plans to address the complex needs of clients.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Provide consultation and guidance to other professionals and non-professional groups to promote effective care and support.
  • Teaching and Training: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Clinical Governance: Maintain high standards of clinical practice and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of clinical psychology.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Possess a minimum of 50 hours of clinical supervision and 18 months of experience working as a qualified clinical/counselling psychologist in an Adult Mental Health setting.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a mental health setting as a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist/Psychological Therapist.
  • Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
