We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey, promoting positive relationships with law enforcement, and providing a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with law enforcement to provide support and guidance to individuals in crisis.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with law enforcement agencies to promote trust and understanding.
  • Provide education and support to individuals on mental health recovery, coping skills, and stress management.
  • Assist individuals in developing and implementing personalized recovery plans.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress and provide support to colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Peer Recovery Specialist certification or be able to obtain within 90 days.
  • Have a positive perspective on law enforcement and working with law enforcement.
  • Be able to work in inclement weather and on holidays if scheduled.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

  • First Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • Peak Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
