Key Responsibilities:

  1. Beach Safety Monitoring: Continuously monitor beach areas to enforce safety rules and respond to potential hazards. Maintain a vigilant watch for swimmers, potential dangers, and weather conditions.
  2. Emergency Response: Act swiftly and decisively in emergency situations, including water rescues, first aid, and CPR. Administer first aid and medical assistance as required, and coordinate with emergency services if necessary.
  3. Preventative Measures: Implement and enforce beach safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Educate beachgoers about safety rules and guidelines.
  4. Pool Oversight: Monitor the pool area, ensuring adherence to safety rules and providing assistance as needed. Conduct regular checks of pool equipment and water quality.
  5. Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents or accidents in a clear and detailed manner. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and safety checks.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other lifeguards and staff to ensure cohesive safety operations and effective communication. Participate in regular team meetings and safety drills.
  7. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that lifesaving equipment and first aid supplies are well-maintained and readily available. Conduct routine checks and report any equipment issues.

Requirements:

  1. Valid Beach Lifeguard Certificate and First Aid Certification are required. Lifeguard certifications must be up-to-date and issued by a recognized authority.
  2. Previous experience as a lifeguard, particularly in beach environments, is highly desirable.
  3. Strong observational skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and effective communication skills. Proficiency in swimming and lifesaving techniques.
  4. Good physical condition with the ability to perform rescues, swim long distances, and remain alert for extended periods.
  5. Ability to work well with others, including beach and pool staff, and to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Working Conditions:

  1. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including sun, wind, and occasional rain.
  2. Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and evenings. Flexibility is required.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED 1,400.00 per month
