Cvent's Alliance Partnerships is expanding and is in search of a Channel Sales Executive. Your main duty will be to identify and secure new business opportunities. You will be responsible for achieving a new business quota and showcasing your solution-selling expertise. Additional duties will include overseeing your Sales Development Representative to ensure prospects are converted into customers, as well as collaborating with Partner Success Managers to enhance existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and actively pursue a targeted list of Key Accounts by developing tailored action plans to successfully close deals.
  • Engage with new prospects to build relationships aimed at meeting and surpassing individual and departmental revenue goals.
  • Present and promote cloud-based marketplace products and services.
  • Surpass established revenue targets for software sales.
  • Provide accurate forecasts of sales opportunities through pipeline reporting.
  • Effectively manage your personal revenue pipeline to maximize new business potential.
  • Track and report sales activities within the system.
  • Collaborate with Account Management and Client Services teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction with Cvent's offerings.
  • Continuously develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in accounts that can yield new business.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in ISV partnerships, multi-channel sales organizations, cloud-based marketplaces, or subscription-based online directories.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue-generating software sales (more experience is preferred).
  • Industry experience in SaaS, app exchanges, or the events sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to integrate knowledge across various disciplines, including cold calling, consultative selling, product demonstrations, contract negotiations, operational processes, and product functionality.
  • Demonstrated initiative and personal leadership, with the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • Strong business acumen, ethical standards, and integrity.
