Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Group Sales Coordinator to join our team at Conrad Dubai. As a Group Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, conferences, and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receive and manage group and event bookings, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the hotel's event output.
  2. Develop and negotiate contracts for groups and events, including rooming lists, payment instructions, and other relevant information.
  3. Collaborate with sales coordinators, reservations, and front desk teams to ensure seamless execution of group and event bookings.
  4. Negotiate budgets with clients and develop events work orders with all relevant information.
  5. Conduct instructional groups with clients, providing detailed information on room categories, pricing, payment methods, and special requests.
  6. Prepare and submit monthly reports on group bookings, updating closing information as necessary.
  7. Interact regularly with account managers, sales coordinators, reservations, front desk, and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding promptly to their requests and needs.
  9. Participate in special activities such as welcome tours, cocktail receptions, and other events as required.
Requirements
  1. Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  2. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, with a confident telephone manner.
  3. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
  4. High level of IT skills, with experience using hotel property management systems.
  5. Demonstrated previous experience working in a sales environment, preferably in the conference and events function.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of hotel property management systems and experience working with them.

  3. Qualification, degree, or certification in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business administration.
