Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Chart Review: Conduct thorough reviews of patient medical records to identify potential candidates for the clinical trial.
  • EMR Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in navigating EMR systems to access patient information and update records as necessary.
  • Patient Pre-Screening: Screen patients against the study criteria for enrollment, ensuring that only eligible candidates are selected.
  • EDC Data Entry: Accurately enter patient data into electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
  • Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments for in-person study visits, ensuring timely and efficient coordination.
  • Physician Outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with medical professionals to promote the clinical trial and encourage participation.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to meet with medical professionals and discuss the clinical trial, its benefits, and the role of the Clinical Research Coordinator.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
