About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Business Specialist Applications portfolio's delivery success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leveraging Agile delivery methodologies to drive predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Agile Delivery: Apply Agile delivery methodologies to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Productivity Optimization: Optimize productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the portfolio's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to change.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively partner with Product, Architecture, and Technology stakeholders to align solutions with program objectives within an Agile delivery culture.
  • Facilitation and Dependency Management: Apply complex facilitation and dependency management techniques to drive cross-program and departmental planning, collaboration, and coordination.
  • Strategic Delivery: Optimize strategic flow of delivery across business and technology by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement with measurable outcomes.
  • Architecture and Business Alignment: Understand overall architecture, business capabilities, and alignment with corporate initiatives to assist in removing impediments.
  • System Integration: Ensure the seamless operation of property management systems (PMS), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, POS systems, Payments, F&B, and SPA/Health Club and other hospitality-specific platforms.
  • IT Delivery Model Transformation: Enable transformation of IT delivery models towards Agile and Continuous delivery.
  • Agile Best Practices: Ensure that Agile best practices are adopted with continuous coaching on adaptive, iterative methods such as Scrum and Kanban, facilitating frequent demos and empowering teams to solve problems.
  • Project Leadership: Lead major IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in Information Technology, digital transformations, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 12+ years of experience in Information Technology, leading digital transformations and Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, CRS, POS, CRM), Compliance, Hotel Pre-Openings, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Ability to deliver executive-level insights and guidance with a strategic mindset to envision the future and translate into tangible strategies.
  • Strong self and social confidence and tenacity; polished and persuasive communicator and presenter.
  • Robust analytical and strategic planning and execution skills with creative decision-making and problem-solving skills.
