About the Role

We are looking for a talented CORROSION SPECIALIST to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a member of our Materials & Corrosion Engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions for various Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East & Africa.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and/or Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Concept Select of medium to large scale projects. Strong knowledge of degradation mechanisms in the Oil & Gas Industry and effective corrosion mitigation strategies are essential.

Main responsibilities include developing FEED/Detailed Engineering Design philosophies/design basis, material selection reports, corrosion control documents, and cathodic protection scope of work/design basis. Proficiency in industry-standard corrosion modelling software is also required.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas engineering projects.
  • Expertise in materials and corrosion deliverables in FEED and DED phases.
  • Strong knowledge of cathodic protection deliverables.
  • Experience working on Middle East projects.
  • Basic knowledge of integrity operating windows and corrosion monitoring techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and recommended practices.
  • Proficiency in corrosion modelling using industry-standard software tools.
