**Background experience**:EPC company/shipyard/offshore construction facility.

Job Scope:
Coating Superintendent will be an integral part of the production team in the Department. His duties will be to liaise with the EPC division for all coating related EPC Enquiries, Planning and Execution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform duties as instructed by Department head.
- Liaise with EPC division to understand project specification, pre-requisites and provide necessary support / feedback for bidding/tendering.
- Review Client specification and carry out necessary gap analysis and provide feedback to EPC division.
- Carry out site visit/ Offshore visit to identify the scope /requirements and to prepare initial execution plan.
- Carryout corrosion assessment survey and define scope.
- Liaise with Paint manufacturers for defining coating specification.

**Requirements**:
Education: Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

**Experience**:

- More than 15 years working experience in a Shipyard as lead in Coating section which undertakes New build/Conversion / offshore projects. (8 years experience as corrosion specialist will be an advantage)
- NACE Corrosion Specialist or Equivalent / NACE- O-CAT/S-CAT or equivalent.
- OPITO approved offshore & Onshore safety training.

**Salary**: Up to AED25,000.00 per month
