We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to support our project management consultancy team in the transportation sector.

This role will involve overseeing health, safety, and environmental aspects of large infrastructure projects, acting as a client representative to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field, and professional certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH would be highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing HSE strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Maintaining records of HSE incidents and accidents
  • Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
  • Reviewing and approving contractor HSE plans and risk assessments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP)
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a PMC environment
