Desert Face Trading LLC is a reputable automobile spare parts trading company dealing in European trucks and trailer parts. We are seeking an experienced International Parts Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Forecasting and Goal Setting: Develop and implement sales forecasts and objectives for the parts department, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Team Management: Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department, ensuring a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts, and the do-it-yourself public.
- Pricing and Profitability: Establish pricing parameters in each customer category, generating enough gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
- Inventory Optimization: Establish individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover, ensuring that parts inventory turns (established #) times per year.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence, ensuring that all parts are properly tagged to recover full credit from the factory.
- Stock Order Procedures: Supervise stock order procedures, ensuring that stock orders represent at least (established %) percent of all orders.
- Wholesale Parts Program: Develop and administer an aggressive wholesale parts program to produce profit, analyzing sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
- Customer Service: Ensure that the same high-quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers, working with the service manager and body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze departmental operations and storage layout, revising as needed for maximum effectiveness, providing technical assistance to parts department employees, and monitoring parts department employees' payroll records.
- Shipping and Receiving: Direct shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing, monitoring daily reports such as DOE, DOC, and sales productivity, and developing and utilizing a lost sales tracking report.
- Sales Promotions: Develop sales promotions, taking advantage of all manufacturers' inventory co-op advertising, and developing, enforcing, and monitoring guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines, ensuring that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made, and assisting in the collection of past-due accounts.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety requirements, including but not limited to forklift training and operation, processing of MSDS sheets on all products carried, and OSHA Right-to-Know, understanding, keeping abreast of, and complying with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
- Professional Development: Maintain a professional appearance, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably in the selling of automobile spare parts.
- Fluency in Arabic, English, and French languages.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales, expenses, and inventory data to maintain profit goals.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
