- Consultative Services: Provide care to patients on a consultative service on a rotating schedule among 6 consultants.
- Diagnostic Services: Interpret noninvasive cardiac studies, including transthoracic echocardiography, stress tests, stress echocardiography, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
- Procedural Services: Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography.
- Outpatient Care: Provide outpatient care to patients in cardiology clinic.
- Education and Training: Supervise and teach cardiology fellows, medicine residents, and medical students rotating on cardiac services.
- Medication Management: Prescribes or administers medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Cultural Competence: Supplies and provides care in a culturally appropriate and sensitive manner.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follows ethical and regulatory guidelines.
- Administrative Functions: Takes part in administrative functions that ensure the continued operations of the clinical environment, such as committees, task forces, and performance improvement measures.
- Clinical Privileges: Adheres to individual approved clinical privileges, as well as to all policies and procedures of the Medical Staff.
