About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Care Specialist to join our team at Isms Facilities Pvt Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Treatment Program Functions:
    • Provide a broad range of basic dental treatment, including dental restorations, extractions, oral hygiene procedures, and root canal treatment.
    • Perform emergency dental procedures as needed.
    • Meet with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns and establish a treatment plan.
    • Prescribe appropriate medications and administer local anesthetics.
    • Operate dental x-ray machines, radiographic processor, and interpret x-rays to ensure proper quality assurance and safety.
    • Monitor and perform infection prevention and control practices (IPAC) to ensure patient safety.
  • Records and Reporting Functions:
    • Verify and apply medical history prior to treatment by consulting with family members and physicians.
    • Receive referrals from private dental and medical providers and make referrals to other appropriate dental practices.
    • Keep and maintain patient dental records.
  • Quality Assurance and Due Diligence Activities:
    • Recommend and develop program policies and ensure implementation of policies and procedures in a dental clinic setting.
    • Provide clients with access to social/health/community resources and collaborate with partner organizations.
  • Liaison, Communication, and Customer Service Activities:
    • Respond to inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that services provided meet regional customer service standards.
    • Participate on committees, work groups, task forces, and special projects as required.
    • Manage information in accordance with legislation and corporate policies.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from a university recognized by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and eligible to practice clinical dentistry in Ontario.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in working in a clinical dental practice treating patients.
  • Must be a current member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff and clients.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in French and English.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including communication, teamwork, and collaboration, and personal development.
  • Computer literacy utilizing MS Office software.
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work outside regular business hours as required.
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle.
  • A valid first aid and CPR certificate would be an asset.
  • Provide a criminal record check including the vulnerable sector.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or medical ticket for exemption) will be requested at the time of hire.
