Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various medical specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, monitor, and provide medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' unique needs, conditions, and preferences.
- Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Keep up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records, in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their families to actively participate in their care and make informed decisions by educating them about their health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices.
- Adhere to Infection Control Protocols: Prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor and Evaluate Patient Responses: Recognize and promptly address any changes in patients' conditions or unexpected complications by monitoring and evaluating their responses to treatments and interventions.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Enhance patient outcomes, optimize healthcare delivery processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement by participating in quality improvement initiatives, performance improvement activities, and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Maintain Professional Competence: Stay updated on best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and advances in nursing practice through ongoing education, training, and professional development activities.
- Demonstrate Professionalism: Foster a positive and supportive healthcare environment by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, empathy, and respect in all interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: A bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- DOH/DHA License: A valid DOH/DHA license is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, homecare, or medical center setting as a nurse or fresh graduate.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Availability: Must be able to join immediately.
- Residence Visa: Must have a residence visa.
