We are looking for a highly skilled Banking Sector Operations Professional to join our team at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). As a key member of the Global Markets department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all derivatives-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Derivatives team, including validation, confirmation, and settlement of derivatives transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with stakeholders, including clearing brokers, clearing houses, market risk teams, Murex IT, and Global Market traders.

You will work closely with the Legal team to address client-specific requirements and engage with Shariah specialists to interpret Shariah guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, with a minimum of 2 years in similar positions of progressively increasing responsibilities in an Operations function.
