Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Application Specialist - Biochemistry Expert to join our team at Erba Technologies Austria. As a key member of our application support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our distributors in the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide application assistance to distributors' application and technical support teams.
  • Ensure 3rd level intervention together with subsidiaries and distributors' support team.
  • Explain and enhance interventions to Lab Managers, subsidiaries, and distributors.
  • Participate in new devices and software version assessments.
  • Organize, set up, and conduct application training sessions to qualify subsidiaries and distributors' application representatives.
  • Provide necessary documents for training sessions.
  • Make occasional trips abroad to train subsidiaries/distributors' application representatives and solve problems.
  • Assess trainees' satisfaction regarding training performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in all training on new equipment the company will have.
  • Create SOP for end users after hands-on experience with the analyzer.

Product Support:

  • Work closely with the area's product managers to implement application strategies for competitive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with headquarters to review and analyze regular application processes' effectiveness and develop optimization strategies.
  • Coordinate contributions and share relevant information with product managers.

Application Documentation:

  • Contribute to the elaboration of application documents and ongoing training support for subsidiaries and distributors' application representatives.

Quality:

  • Inform Global Application Specialists Manager when cases seem to be global.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction within the company's goals.
  • Contribute to continuous application improvement to achieve global standards, focusing on application efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Training level and background in Biochemistry, Coagulation, Diabetology, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology, Microbiology, and instrument functionality.
  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Language: Fluent English mandatory; extra languages (like French & Arabic) are much appreciated.
  • Variety of knowledge: Knowledge of principles and theories in Biochemistry, Coagulation, Diabetology, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology, Microbiology, and instrument functionality. Train the Trainer Certificate is appreciated.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Strong desire and capacity to learn a lot of information in a short period of time.
  • Good communication skills and multitasking ability.
