About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Energy Jobline. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commissioning and project management, with experience in working with construction teams to define methodology requirements for pre-commissioning completion.

The role will involve overseeing all activities related to GMP project commissioning, including preparing, organizing, implementing, managing, following up, and controlling commissioning-related tasks. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all commissioning activities for GMP projects
  • Prepare and implement commissioning plans and procedures
  • Liaise with construction teams to ensure smooth handover from construction to commissioning
  • Ensure that all engineering deliverables meet company and project commissioning requirements
  • Develop and manage commissioning budgets and schedules
  • Supervise and monitor all commissioning activities performed by contractors
  • Report to the GMP Project Director

About You

  • Mandatory minimum experience in a similar position: 10 Years with managerial responsibilities
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Professional experience: 20 years minimum
  • Project management skills (Budget/Cost/Schedule)
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Language: English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing), French and/or Arabic language is a plus
