Overview

As a key member of the finance team, this position presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance expert looking to advance their career within the hospitality sector. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Thoroughly preparing and managing all financial requirements for the monthly financial closing process.
  • Overseeing payroll management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Handling accounts payable, cash management, profit and loss statements, forecasts, and budgets on a regular basis.
  • Conducting monthly reconciliations of the Balance Sheet.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal control policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in meticulous record-keeping.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with Awards and payroll processing, preferably with Zambion software.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
  • A degree in accounting or progress towards CPA certification.
  • Prior knowledge of Superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and other legislative requirements.
  • Experience with Sun Systems, Opera PMS, and Q&A is a plus.
