Job Summary

Vega Digital is seeking a highly skilled ELV Systems Engineer with MCC License to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Sales Site Survey: Conduct thorough site surveys to estimate costs and review post-sales site surveys to compare proposals and current site situations.
  2. Technical Project Management: Manage all technical aspects of projects, including conceptualization, design, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  3. Engineering and Design: Design, value engineer, install, test, and commission ELV systems and structured cabling systems.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering documents, including technical solutions and documentation for project execution.
  5. Project Coordination: Coordinate with engineering and design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project completion within agreed time frames.
  6. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement inspection and test plans, check sheets, and method statements to ensure quality-related procedures are followed.
  7. Materials Coordination: Coordinate materials required with project and procurement teams.
  8. Design Issue Resolution: Recognize critical design issues and resolve them on time by making necessary design/drawing changes and obtaining required approvals.
  9. Testing and Commissioning: Coordinate and implement configuration, conduct testing, and commissioning of ELV systems to ensure they meet performance standards and regulations.
  10. Training and Support: Provide training to clients and end-users on the proper use and maintenance of ELV systems.
  11. Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers/OEM partners for technical discussions, evaluation, and testing of ELV product portfolios.
  12. Quality Maintenance: Maintain the quality of products, services, customer support, and level of service in line with service level agreements and other retention strategies.
  13. Project Meetings: Attend routine and ad-hoc project meetings to advance engineering design and delivery.
  14. Contract Negotiation: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  15. Communication: Coordinate and communicate to ensure an effective exchange of information regarding services and systems, maintainability, and functional operations.
  16. Subordinate Oversight: Maintain effective oversight of subordinate employees, ensuring adherence to work quality, schedules, and company policies and procedures.
  17. Progress Monitoring: Monitor overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary.
  18. Project Documentation: Maintain daily/weekly progress and observation notes regarding all aspects of a project and update at timely intervals to project managers and clients.
