Job Overview:

As an ELV Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing site activities related to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, and other security systems. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Management: Oversee and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  2. ELV System Installation: Supervise the installation and configuration of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, and communication systems.
  3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ELV and CCTV systems; ensure systems are operational and meet performance requirements.
  4. Coordination: Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of issues.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including installation reports, system configurations, and compliance documentation.
  6. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry guidelines.
  7. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  8. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an ELV Systems Coordinator or similar role, with specific expertise in ELV systems and CCTV installations. Prior experience working with similar projects or in a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, and other security technologies. Familiarity with industry standards and practices is a plus.
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Additional certifications in ELV systems or project management are advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., security system certifications, project management certifications) are beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role.
  • Competence in project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and colleagues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve.
