Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Child Eye Care Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Talent Shark in Dubai. This role focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various eye conditions affecting children from infancy to adolescence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients' ocular health and visual functions.
  • Identify and manage a diverse array of pediatric eye disorders, including refractive errors, strabismus, amblyopia, congenital anomalies, and hereditary eye conditions.
  • Execute surgical interventions when required, such as strabismus correction, pediatric cataract procedures, and other specialized pediatric eye surgeries.
  • Recommend corrective lenses, medications, or alternative therapies as deemed necessary.
  • Track patient progress and treatment responses, modifying care plans as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including pediatricians, optometrists, and orthoptists, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding eye health, treatment options, and preventive strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Completed residency in Ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
  • Board certification in Ophthalmology with a focus on Pediatric Ophthalmology is preferred.
  • Valid medical practice license in Dubai UAE.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
