Job Role: Pediatric Dietitian

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dietitian to join our nutrition and dietetics team at King's College Hospital London – UAE. As a Pediatric Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing specialist nutritional care to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide highly specialist advice, education, and support to patients and carers.
  • Work within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and advise physicians, nursing staff, and other health professionals on the dietetic management of patients.
  • Be responsible for providing specialist nutritional care within paediatrics, including assessment, nutrition therapy, and monitoring to patients and their carers.
  • Act as an expert resource for the management of paediatric patients and educate and train healthcare professionals within the organisation when required.
  • Maintain professional accountability for own caseload, working autonomously in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including the patient's own home when appropriate.
  • Work closely with the catering team to ensure the nutrition needs of hospital patients are met and maintained.
  • Contribute to nutrition and dietetic policy development within the specialist area of paediatrics.
  • Provide the best possible experience for patients, carers, and families.
