About the Role

We are seeking an experienced sales and business development professional to join our team as a Business Messaging Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of enterprise selling experience, executive maturity, and presence, as well as the ability to articulate business value to key decision makers. You will possess proven skills around sales, solutioning, and customer success, with a track record of driving growth and consumption for SaaS solutions.

As a Business Messaging Specialist, you will be responsible for building relationships with CXO/decision makers, developing comprehensive business plans, and creating trust and influence with customers. You will also work closely with our Product, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering teams to develop new ways to improve the WhatsApp Business Messaging experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Developing business cases and presenting them to customers to generate new opportunities.
  2. Building relationships with CXO/decision makers across various departments to promote WhatsApp as a strategic platform.
  3. Creating trust and influencing impact by acting as a trusted advisor to help customers transform their businesses.
  4. Developing strategies to manage pipelines and meet sales goals by reviewing forecasts, assessing risks, and ensuring strategy alignment with business priorities.
  5. Actively seeking customer feedback to identify drivers of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, and engaging Support & Engineering teams to address issues and improve the customer's experience.
