We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a College Social Media and Events Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy, as well as coordinating events that promote the college's programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Social Media Management
    • Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with the college's goals and objectives.
    • Curate and create engaging content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
    • Monitor and update content on college webpages.
  • Event Planning
    • Coordinate college-wide events with other university units, including the Office of Strategic Communication and Marketing.
    • Oversee all operational aspects of college events, including invitation, venue selection, scheduling, catering, and logistics.
    • Generate continuous feed/news on specific events.
    • Create post-event surveys.
    • Evaluate ongoing events and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and event planning.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
