The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy, as well as coordinating events that promote the college's programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Social Media Management
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with the college's goals and objectives.
- Curate and create engaging content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
- Monitor and update content on college webpages.
- Event Planning
- Coordinate college-wide events with other university units, including the Office of Strategic Communication and Marketing.
- Oversee all operational aspects of college events, including invitation, venue selection, scheduling, catering, and logistics.
- Generate continuous feed/news on specific events.
- Create post-event surveys.
- Evaluate ongoing events and recommend improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management and event planning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
