Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the pastry section to deliver consistent pastry quality and exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to implement standard operating procedures and ensure that all team members are trained and equipped to meet the highest standards.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the guest experience and drive business growth.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to ensure that the pastry section is operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or resort.
- Proven track record of managing and organizing a pastry section to deliver exceptional results.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of pastry techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
