About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge Assistant Manager to join our team at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive a warm, friendly, and courteous 5-star service, and will work closely with the Front Office Team, Guest Relations, and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all guests are given a warm, friendly, courteous, informative, and efficient 5-star service.
  • To assist the Chief Concierge in maintaining high standards and achieving maximum guest satisfaction.
  • To keep and continuously update knowledge of Dubai and the region, establish strong relationships with select third-party business partners and service providers to deliver exceptional service throughout the city.
  • To promote Emirati cultural events and activities to guests, providing them with insights into local traditions and customs.
  • To have an in-depth knowledge or access to information regarding directions, travel time, cost, and various forms of transportation provided by the hotel and in the city.
  • To maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights, events, and attractions.
  • To arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events, and local attractions, and make and confirm dining reservations.
  • To ensure all E-Butler conversations and requests are attended to and completed, with digital itineraries complete and shared with guests.
  • To organize helicopter flights from/to the Burj Al Arab helipad and promote Transportation and partnered watersports to drive revenue.
  • To keep updated on special events and activities in Dubai and in the GCC region.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • UAE National as per government requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a 5-star hotel.
  • A great sense of morals and ethics.
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English (written and oral) – Fluency in other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of computer programs such as MS Office, Opera, HotSos, E-Butler/E-Concierge.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and courteous.
