About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team at Actalent. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a critical role in advancing our engineering and science initiatives through your expertise in environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage tasks related to environmental projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Prepare field notes and documentation, maintaining accurate and detailed records of project activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement environmental projects, leveraging your knowledge of GIS software, hand-held devices, and equipment calibration.
  • Conduct soil and groundwater sampling, analyzing data to inform project decisions and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental projects, including GIS software, hand-held devices, and equipment calibration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
