Job Description

The Client of Talentmate seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laundry Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our laundry facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient cleaning and processing of linens and garments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding.
  • Manage a team of laundry staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and quality control measures.
  • Inspect laundered items for quality assurance and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Schedule and prioritize laundry tasks to meet service level agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain laundry equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate repairs.
  • Collaborate with other departments for linen and garment distribution.
  • Train staff on proper handling and maintenance of laundry equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in laundry or hospitality management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in laundry operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and cleaning techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
