Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Financial Controller with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
  • Update the Capex tracker and review various Capex-related requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze monthly profit and loss statements and provide support to colleagues with queries raised during monthly P&L reviews.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end commitments, including revenue finalization, inventory, cost reporting, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage the quarterly external audit and associated reports, providing requested information and coordinating with the team and auditors.
  • Assist the Financial Controller in the annual budget and monthly forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
  • Deputize for the Financial Controller and represent the company at various meetings with the General Manager and Operational Head of Department.
  • Provide finance training to the finance department and other departments as required.
  • Review daily income audit, purchase orders, general cashier reconciliation, and preparation of bank reconciliation.
  • Assist with the completion of quarterly internal control checklists with the team.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting, with a strong understanding of financial policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
