About the Library
The library provides various spaces for collaboration and blended learning, while maintaining quiet areas and traditional services. Our academic resources are dedicated to supporting students, alumni, and staff through an ever-growing collection of print and electronic materials.
We aim to support research alongside teaching and learning, providing laptops for student use and assignments. Students can also access our online library catalog, course reserves, and databases.
The Role
- Deliver frontline circulation services, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
- Use the automated integrated library system to check out, check-in, and renew lending of library materials.
- Assist students and staff in accessing online resources and resolving account issues.
- Support the integration of digital tools into students' and faculty workflows.
- Answer inquiries and provide basic information or direct questions to appropriate staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Library/Information Science.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Computer proficiency including Excel and SharePoint.
- Organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous University library experience and flexibility regarding working hours are preferred.
