Key Responsibilities
  • Manage leasing assignments for MAF Retail projects, including tenant prospecting and negotiations to secure optimal lease terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of all lease contracts and ensure timely renewal of lease agreements by tracking expiry dates and proposing renewal options.
  • Monitor and record changes in lease terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with market trends and centre values.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team to track lease payments from tenants and owners, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any disputes.
  • Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure proper coordination and execution of sublease agreements.
  • Conduct tenant presentations and negotiations to secure lease agreements that align with our defined leasing strategy.
Research, Analysis, and Documentation
  • Ensure all documentation, including lease agreements, tenant supporting materials, trade licenses, and insurance, are collected and prepared in accordance with MAF Retail's legal policies.
  • Monitor tenant shop performance through analysis of customer feedback and monthly sales reports, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct market visits, field research, and site due diligence to stay up-to-date with local retail market trends, leasing terms, and customer demand.
