  • Monitor Product Quality: Oversee product quality and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Troubleshoot Production Issues: Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs to crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
  • Coaching and Performance Management: Provide coaching and performance management to crew members to enhance their skills and abilities.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Complete data entry responsibilities and generate reports to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 or more years of supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, or in a process engineering role.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience at a GP site with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn and use various PC, software, and cloud-based software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • OSB Manufacturing Experience: Experience in OSB manufacturing.
  • Safe Work Practices: Experience in applying safe work practices, including Lock Tag Verify (LTV) and Hazard Analysis/Awareness.
  • Coaching and Counseling: Experience in coaching, counseling, and developing employees.
