About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fragrance Development Specialist to join our team at Givaudan. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering fragrances that meet the needs of our customers in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fragrance Development: Develop olfactory strategies for clients and guide perfumery teams accordingly.
  • Brief Management: Manage and execute multiple complex briefs, developing or selecting fragrances according to given brief guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with other regional creative centres as necessary to complete project assignments.
  • Product Testing: Define fragrances to be tested and coordinate with CMI.
  • Olfactory Analysis: Translate CMI results into olfactory guidelines for perfumers.
  • Product Development: Develop new fragrances with perfumers on a proactive basis.
  • Product Stability: Work with lab on testing product stability.
  • Best Practices: Follow and understand best practices and efficiency improvement opportunities.
Industry and Marketing
  • Market Insights: Anticipate market tastes and work closely with marketing colleagues on proactive concept generation.
  • Olfactory Summaries: Write olfactory summaries of a region/market and customer for knowledge-building and sharing.
  • Customer Presentations: Conduct customer presentations and interactions.
  • Business Development: Demonstrate consistent track records of new wins.
Activation and Gallery
  • Fragrance Collection: Build and curate the best-in-class fragrance collection, responding to gap analysis, market needs, market trends, and incorporating Givaudan technologies.
  • Fragrance Selection: Manage fast and efficient selection of fragrances for activation projects from oil or blind.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Fragrance Development Specialist who is passionate about perfume and olfaction. You will have a strong background in perfumery and fragrance evaluation, with excellent communication and project management skills. You will be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of the industry and customers.
