We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient-centric and evidence-based midwifery care.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Deliver Quality Patient Care

Deliver high-quality care to antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum women, and neonates in collaboration with the multi-professional team, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and relevant legislation.

Ensure Patient Safety

Identify, prevent, and manage risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, ensuring a safe environment for patients.

Facilitate Positive Patient Experiences

Create a conducive environment that promotes positive patient and family experiences, as guided by nursing leadership.

Record Keeping and Documentation

Accurately and comprehensively record all nursing interventions according to company standards and legal requirements.

Learning and Development

Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring, and coaching learners and nursing employees.

Resource Utilization

Utilize all required stock and equipment efficiently, according to Mediclinic guidelines.

Requirements

  • Education

Relevant Bachelor's degree in Midwifery or a related field.

Experience

At least two years of experience in midwifery care in a hospital setting.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Computer Literacy

Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Patient Safety Standards

Knowledge of patient safety standards and risk management.
