Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates

Industry: Manufacturing (Furniture Factory)

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Financial Reporting and Compliance**: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- **Accounting and Bookkeeping**: Oversee all accounting operations, including Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- **Financial Forecasting and Strategy**: Develop and execute financial strategy based on market analysis and the company’s goals. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify potential areas of improvement.
- **Budget Management**: Lead the annual budgeting and planning process. Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
- **Cash Flow Management**: Manage the company's cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**: Oversee the management of all accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables to maintain favorable cash flow.
- **Payroll**: Oversee the monthly salary calculation and payment process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws.
- **Stakeholder Reporting**: Provide insightful information and expectations to the CEO and investors to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
- **Internal Controls**: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controller position, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
