Business Development Manager - Alliances & Acquisition is responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with Product Marketing Management in monitoring strategic marketing programs, strategic program roadmaps, program development, program/product launches, and program marketing to gain maximum benefit from each program/product and deliver on client value propositions
- Deploy profitable marketing strategies, implement key growth initiatives, and maintain current market intelligence on overall industry verticals and competitors
- Ensure successful execution of marketing plans and execute priorities for business or product possibly requiring coordination and integration across units
- Utilize specialty knowledge to review, analyze, and develop beyond existing solutions
- Contribute to day-to-day product marketing for core products including program delivery, client experience, and client communications strategy, as well as provide input into project plans and program affecting job family/function within a region/business
- Implement client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
- Collect client and competitor market research, develop a product innovation roadmap, and partner with Marketing Product Managers in managing all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and competitive field

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Required Licensing/Registration: Series 7, Series 63
- Working knowledge of product management, program management, and marketing
- Working knowledge of the business
- Ability to collaborate especially with internal/external partners on delivery of client-facing solutions
- Ability to partner with and influence cross functional team to deliver client needs
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Business acumen with ability to review alternate courses of action and comprehend trade off decisions
