**Summary**:
The main duty of a Travel & Assistance Processing Officer is to perform claim creation and processing related activities for Travel Claims. The incumbent will follow the internal work instructions and SOP, along with processing safety checks to ensure the correct processing of the claim.

**Main Tasks**:

- Create claims in the system following the internal SOP and work instructions
- Process claims in the system following the internal SOP and work instructions
- Endorse to Finance Department the processed claims as instructed by the Technical Lead and following the internal work instructions
- Follow up with Officers or third parties to receive invoices related to the ongoing cases and clarify any inaccuracies before processing
- Create notes and updates the system following the claim creation and processing
- Performs safety checks for all assigned claims for processing to ensure accuracy of process and financial data
- Identifies errors, makes corrections and reports to Technical Lead and Assistant Manager
- Attends meetings with Leaders to ensure alignment and process is followed accurately
- Attend internal meetings related to the job as per the internal requirements

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in any area
- 1+ years of Insurance Claims Experience
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general internet navigation and research skills
- Fluency in typing
- Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
- Physically fit to carry out duties
