**Key Accountabilities**:

- **Reduce Carry Over Stock**: Develop strategies to minimize excess inventory, reduce carrying costs, and avoid stock obsolescence.
- **Improve Stock Turns**: Implement effective inventory management techniques to optimize stock turnover rates and ensure efficient stock utilization.
- **Enhance Assortment Planning Processes**: Collaborate with the merchandising team to improve assortment planning, ensuring that products align with customer preferences and market trends.
- **Improve Working Relationship with Brand Principals**: Foster strong and productive relationships with brand principals and suppliers to enhance collaboration and negotiation outcomes.
- **Enhance Continuity Purchase Processes**: Streamline processes for continuity purchases to maintain consistent availability of key products.

**Execution Activities**:

- **Calculate OTB Limits**: Determine Open to Buy (OTB) limits when placing orders to control purchasing within budgetary constraints.
- **Sales Forecasting and Inventory Monitoring**: Forecast sales and continuously monitor inventory levels to optimize stock replenishment.
- **Assortment Planning**: Utilize past sales trends to plan product assortments for each store location.
- **Support Store Managers**: Assist store managers in setting merchandise prices and allocate seasonal stocks based on historical sales data.
- **Interaction with Brand Principals**: Engage with brand principal personnel to facilitate purchase activities and ensure smooth order placement.
- **Store Merchandise Transfers**: Provide guidance and input to store managers for inter-store merchandise transfers.
- **Effective Communication with Operations**: Maintain regular communication with store staff, respond to store-specific requirements, and guide store activities related to revamps and new store openings.
- **Communication with Brand Principals**: Ensure timely placement of orders, communicate OTB commitments, and execute forward strategic and seasonal planning in collaboration with brand principals.
- **Coordinate with Brand Principals**: Collaborate with brand principals for store supplies, promotional materials, and duty refunds related to shipments.
- **Customer Surveys and Training**: Coordinate customer surveys, analyze findings, and provide regular brand-related training to the operations team.
- **Relationship Building**: Support store managers in building and nurturing relationships with brand principals to strengthen collaboration.
- **MIS Preparation**: Prepare and distribute Management Information System (MIS) reports on a pre-defined basis as required.

**Coordination Activities**:

- **Customer Surveys**: Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to implement customer surveys and gather insights.
- **Customer Preferences**: Work with the operations team to understand customer preferences and buying behaviour.
- **Promotional Materials**: Coordinate with brand principals for branding and promotional materials.
- **Duty Refunds**: Collaborate with brand principals for duty refunds related to shipments.
- **Merchandise Tracking**: Coordinate with the freight supervisor to track ordered merchandise.

**Other Responsibilities**: Undertake any other job duties as deemed fit by top management.
